This year’s Friends of Joshua Tree Climb Smart event is once again happening at the Joshua Tree Lakes Campground and inside Joshua Tree National Park – perfect grounds for the climbing community to encourage education.
Climb Smart 2017 Registration Highlights
- three days of camping
- 6 climbing clinics lead by accredited guides
- two catered dinners Friday and Saturday nights
- vendor village access
- two nights of entertainment
- gear raffle and silent auction
Other options available; evening entries, festival entries, and weekend passes with or without dinners.
Rock Climb Every Day will be one of the many sponsors supporting the stewardship this year. Offering discounts on climbing services to Climb Smart participants, encourage climbing education following the latest standards in the industry, and developing relationships between certified professionals and climbers.
Friends of Joshua Tree Climb Smart’s annual fundraiser, is to support of JOSAR, Access Fund and running their operations for the next year.
JOSAR – is a Joshua Tree National Park Search and Rescue Team ran almost entirely of volunteers who have saved many lives.
Access Fund – is the national organization that keeps U.S. climbing areas open and conserves the climbing environment.
