<p>The figure eight on a bight is simple and secure. It can be inserted into a carabiner, or over a post. When using the figure eight knot to wrap around a tree or boulder, is better to follow it through after putting the loop around the object.</p>
<p>The tail end must always be checked to be a minimum of six inches long and for load bearing it should be tighten or snug throughout.</p>
<p>Make sure to always inspect your figure eight follow through knot to ensure the two stands are beside each other and follow each part of the knot.</p>
