The figure eight (8) follow through knot is simple and secure. It can be looped to be tied in to your harness or a carabiner.
When tied in for climbing, the tail end must be a minimum of six inches long and for load bearing it should be tighten or snug throughout.
Make sure to always inspect your figure eight follow through knot to ensure the two stands are beside each other and follow each part of the knot.
