These guys take pride in letting us all know they have been belaying you all day, touching your rope, while they pick their noses. You may think, “ughhh that is so nasty!”. But have you ever thought of how much dirt and bacteria is in your rope, your gear, your bag, the rock walls you climb. I have seen snakes, field mice and lizards walk thru places we normally climb, so who’s to say that is not worse than what could potentially be in someone’s nose. Who knows? Just food for thought…
